Let’s take a tour of the inside of the house of such a multi-talented individual!
SOUL: Tell us something about your home?
DM: Home is where your heart is and where we feel engaged with family. After a long day at work this is the only place where you can be all by yourself and relax. Home is the best place to share our knowledge and learning with our younger ones. When it comes to the décor of my home, I have used light colors with bright lights which give the house a relaxed and stress free atmosphere. The house décor is a perfect blend of modern and traditional accessories. Since I have a 4 year old son, I have tried not to clutter the house with a lot of furniture hence leaving enough space for him to play around.
SOUL: Of all the places which one has your impression?
DM: If I have to pick one it has to be the corners where small planters are kept. I love gardening hence I have kept plants in all possible places in the house. Apart from this, it is my son’s room where I have picked this handmade bamboo rack to keep his toys so that they are not stored inside the cupboards and get forgotten. Apart from using the toys every now and then it has become easy for him to reach out to his toys when he wants to and whichever he wants to.
SOUL: Anything you would like to add to the space?
DM: Yes, maybe a swing for my son.
SOUL: How do you chill out there?
DM: Weekends are mostly spent in his room. That is the day we get most time with each other. So a lot of playing, storytelling and many such activities are our weekend timetable. I believe the best way to relax is to be with your child as they make you forget all the worries and with them we also become one of them and enjoy the smaller things in life which we forget in our everyday rat-race.
SOUL: Any other place in the house you would like to remodel?
DM: Yes, I do want to remodel my kitchen. I have some ideas in my mind and I am researching extensively on it. Wait for this space for some time in future.
