Remembering your FURRY ANGEL- Remembering PortraitFlip
Yes, we never leave our homes without them, be it in our hairs, on our wrists on in our bags. Yes, we buy them by dozens and lose them mysteriously by hundreds. Yes, we guard the last one with our lives. Yes, they are our lifesavers. But, there is a new cool hair accessory in fashion town that threatens to make our favourite hair ties disappear. And it is none other than the Bun Cuff!
Meet the bun cuff! It is a super cool, super chic hair accessory that gives us a whole new set of #hairgoals and turns the messy bun you created in a jiffy into a well-thought hair style. It has been introduced just a fortnight ago and the response it has got is overwhelming, to say the least.
Up till now, it was pretty impossible to trace the origins of a trend to its source. Not in this case. After her Twitter rant of how wearing hair ties on the wrist takes away all the style out of your ensemble, the famous celebrity stylist Jen Atkins has launched the bun cuff as a part of her new hair accessories collaboration with the minimalistic jewelry brand Chloe + Isabel.
The bun cuff is a versatile, convertible metal piece in elegant designs which doubles up as a trendy bracelet or arm band too! It comes equipped with a U-shaped pin, which is designed to keep the hair in place, and is available in six shades, rose gold, gold, silver, hematite, shiny silver, shiny gold. Priced at $45, this functional beauty works with all kinds of hair styles, from a half-bun, a top knot or even as a ponytail holder. Add the fact that it works pretty well as an arm candy too, it is totally worth its price.
And now all I can think about that is why none of us thought of this before? Beats me! What do you have to say about the bun cuff?
