Fans of Shah Rukh Khan were treated to a pleasant surprise courtesy the teaser of Dear Zindagi, starring Alia Bhatt alongside the superstar. The crackling chemistry between the two actors clearly shines candescently through the teaser. It doesn’t seem that the two actors are romantically linked in the movie but we can guess more when new teasers will be released.
It looks like a slice-of-life kind of movie that unfolds at the outset of a beach with SRK’s character teaching Alia Bhatt how to play kabaddi with the seawaves. As the effervescent waves roar its way to the shore the actor playfully runs away. That moment when both the actors gambol in joy during their jocund game with the sea waves defines the spirit of the movie- love for life, search for peace and the pursuit of happiness.
In the following part the two actors are found on a cycling spree and that is when Alia Bhatt’s character expresses her desire of freedom from everything. To know how Badshah Khan reacts for that you must check out the teaser.
I think the movie is going to be a non-preachy take on enjoying life bit by bit and taking up the challenges as they come, appreciating the otherwise mundane and seeking joy from the pretty little things in life. My hopes are riding high all the more because of the legacy of Gauri Shinde (she is the director of the movie) who is known for her brand of feel-good movies that leave a profound impact on the minds of the viewers! The film boasts of a constellation of cast including Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi and Ira Dubey.
Let’s wait till 25th of November to witness the journey of these two characters in Dear Zindagi.
